Welcome! You can search for items on the Home Page or browse items by category. To place a bid or sell an item you must register for an account. Reserve - The Reserve price is the absolute minimum dollar amount the Seller will accept for an item. Buyers are notified after placing their bid if it is below the Reserve price. If a Buyer's maximum bid is greater than the Reserve price, the Reserve is automatically met and that user is the high bidder. The ability to set a Reserve price is only available to Traditional Auctions . Helpful Advice for Bidders - As a bidder at our Internet Auction, you will be able to decide the level at which you would like to purchase as item. To assist bidders in the preparation of their bids, there has been set an estimated market price “estimate” on each lot. This is a conservative guide to the market value of the items described and you may bid above or below this estimate.
- Please note however, that bids below the starting price quoted will not be accepted.
- Any bid placed with eBid is treated in the strictest confidence. No one else can see or knows your maximum bid. The computer will automatically increase your bid ONLY if a competitive bid is placed by another bidder on the same lot.
- In most cases there is much duplication of type of lots offered. To help minimize the price you might pay, don’t bid on the first lot in a section. Bid on a lot that has yet received a bid in the section you are interested in to increase your chances buying lots you are bidding on at the starting price.
- In preparing your bids, it is important to note that an 11% buyer’s commission, with a minimum Buyer’s Premium charge of $2.20, is added to the final price of each lot (includes GST).
- Under Vendor instructions, passed in lots WILL NOT be available for purchase after the Auction has closed. All passed in lots will be returned to the Reserve Bank of Australia.
- Please note that ALL lots in the Auction close AT THE SAME TIME at 4pm 25th July. Make sure you place your bids before this time to avoid missing out.
